Special Needs Support Worker – Part-Time (10 hrs weekly + every second Saturday) *Location: Firhouse, Dublin 24 *Start Date: Flexible *Pay: Hourly rate (to be agreed) About the Role We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and great with kids to support my 9-year-old son, who has mild additional needs. He’s gentle, funny, and loves routine. He needs someone calm and steady around him. Hours Set weekly hours: *Monday: Afternoon support *Wednesday: Afternoon support *Friday: Afternoon support (Approx. 10 hours total across the three days) Plus: *Every second Saturday (6–8 hours) for outings, activities, or home-based support. What You’ll Be Doing *Collecting him from school or after-school *Giving a snack + calm wind-down time *Homework/reading support *Play, crafts, or outdoor activities *Driving to and from activities *Every second Saturday: outings, activities, or general support *Keeping his play space tidy and organised About Him He has: *Dyspraxia *Dyslexia *Mild learning difficulties He’s affectionate, very sweet, and thrives with patience and routine. Optional Extra Hours Available occasionally: *School holiday camp drop-offs/collections *Extra afternoons if needed *Occasional evenings (All paid separately at the agreed hourly rate.)
