*Part-Time Childminder / Nanny – Portmarnock (near DART station)* We are a warm, friendly family based in Portmarnock (approximately a 6-minute walk from the DART station) looking for a caring, reliable and experienced childminder/nanny to care for our 15-month-old daughter in our home. Both parents work from home. We are seeking someone calm, attentive and engaged who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and supporting their development through play, interaction and a nurturing daily routine. About the role: Loving, attentive care for our 15-month-old during the day Supporting naps, meals/snacks, playtime, walks and age-appropriate activities Talking, reading and playing to support early language development Creating a calm, engaging and screen-free environment Days & hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9:00am – 5:00pm Start date: Tuesday, 3rd March 2026 We would like to arrange a paid trial day prior to the start date About you: Experience caring for babies/toddlers as a nanny, childminder, au pair or similar Kind, patient, attentive and reliable Comfortable working in a home where parents are working remotely Strong spoken English, as communication and interaction are important to us Enjoys engaging with children through play, conversation and routine Non-smoker preferred Requirements: Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain) References required First Aid qualification desirable Childcare qualification welcomed but not essential We offer a respectful, welcoming working environment and are keen to build a positive, long-term relationship with the right person.
