We are a warm, welcoming family based in Dublin 4, seeking a kind, experienced, and nurturing nanny to care for our 10-month-old baby in our home. This is a long-term position, commencing at the beginning of April (baby will be 12 months old), with approximately 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are available in the interim if this suits the right candidate. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children — someone who takes pride in nurturing them, supporting their emotional security, curiosity, and early learning, and who finds real satisfaction in helping a child grow and thrive. The Role: Sole-charge care of our social fun 10-month-old child (will be 12 months at the time) in a loving home environment Creating and maintaining a completely screen-free environment Supporting early development through play, conversation, reading, music, outdoor time, and age-appropriate activities Helping our child learn and grow through gentle guidance, encouragement, and responsive care Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the child Maintaining the child’s daily routine (naps, feeds, outings) Light housework including: Tidying play areas Laundry Keeping the kitchen tidy Occasionally preparing a simple family dinner, where time allows Potential for occasional babysitting which will be paid seperately. About You An experienced nanny or childcare professional with a genuine passion for nurturing young children Minimum 3+ years’ experience, ideally with babies of a similar age Garda vetted (or willing to be) Excellent references (essential) First Aid/CPR training preferred Fluent English Non-smoker Calm, caring, reliable, and emotionally attuned Someone who values connection, development, and a gentle, engaged approach to childcare If this sounds like a role that would suit you, please get in touch with a short introduction, your CV, and references.
