We are a professional, friendly family based in Ireland looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced au pair to join our home and help care for our two children – a 6-year-old girl and a 10-month-old baby boy from october 2026. We are seeking someone who genuinely loves working with children and is mature, reliable, trustworthy, and well-organised. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in childcare, nannying, au pair work, or babysitting. Working Hours:To be discussed (generally weekdays) Key Responsibilities: Providing attentive and nurturing care for both children Assisting with school routines and baby care Engaging children in age-appropriate activities (play, reading, etc.) Light housekeeping duties (tidying, children’s laundry, keeping play areas clean) Requirements: Previous childcare experience (minimum 5 years preferred) A caring and patient personality Reliable, punctual, and responsible Non-smoker (preferred) Current First Aid certification Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain) Full driver’s licence (preferred) Childcare qualification (desirable but not essential) What We Offer: A welcoming and respectful family environment Private accommodation (if live-in) Weekly allowance (to be discussed) Support and flexibility where possible We are looking for someone who will become a valued part of our family and provide a safe, happy environment for our children.
