I’m looking for someone to help manage household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, buying household products, and sometimes cooking. The role would also include feeding my dog and looking after my 8-year-old daughter when she visits after school. My daughter lives with her mother, but she often spends time with me after school. She usually stays with me 2–3 days a week, but when her mother is travelling, she may stay with me for 1–2 weeks. I live in a 3-bedroom apartment and am looking for a live-in au pair who can use one of the bedrooms. I would like the candidate to stay overnight in the allocated room when my daughter is staying with me, as I need help in the mornings with getting her ready for school, preparing breakfast, doing her hair, making her lunchbox, and similar tasks. On the days when my daughter is not staying with me, the candidate is very welcome to continue living and staying overnight in the apartment. She does not need to have another place to stay. However, if she does have another home and prefers to go there on those days, that is also fine. Candidates who have their own car, or at least a valid driving licence that allows them to drive in Ireland, would be preferred. I may be able to provide a car later if it becomes necessary.
