Live-in Carer required on a part-time ad hoc basis during the winter months. Winter 2026 - We are looking for a short term live-in carer for an elderly man on an adhoc basis. We require a person who is available for short periods (to cover from 2 days to 6 days during different months). Must have experience with moderate dementia care. Please do not apply if you work for an agency as we need a person who can cover full-time days and nights. Would involve preparing breakfast and evening meals and light housework as well as assisting him with TV. The person would be required to sleep overnight and be around during the day. We are located in Beaumont, Dublin 9. (Near Beaumont Hospital). Would suit a person who lives nearby and or has a car. Person must be friendly, comfortable with an elderely man with moderate dementia, comfortable with cooking, punctual and reliable. Recent references will be required. Would suit a person who is fully available for adhoc work but not working with an agency.
