We require a live-in carer for my Mother who is 85 years young. She has recently had a few falls at home and is finding it difficult to manage at home on her own. We require someone 5 days/nights per week as I stay with my Mother 2 days/nights myself. The days required are Wed to Sun incl. The expectations would be to provide care around the house during the day and help to get Mammy to bed at night. She generally sleeps well at night but may go to the bathroom herself once during the night in her ensuite bathroom very close to her bed. She is an early riser and may need help getting dressed. We will have HSE carers 5 mornings and 5 late afternoons and myself and my brother will be available to take her to appointments etc if needed. Mammy will have day care which will be from 5 or 6 hours one day per week.
