We are a busy family from Malahide, juggling working full time Monday to Thursday in the city centre with school runs, sports practices and homework, looking for a childminder for our 2 kids aged 8, and 12. The successful person will be a caring, responsible and experienced childcarer. Ideally, you will have at least 2-5 years experience in nannying, child care, au pair or babysitting work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work afternoons only, from 2pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. We are a non-smoking household and require a non-smoker. You must have your own car to be able to help with drop-offs and picks-ups from local sports training sessions. Your responsibilities will include: Occasional pick-up of our younger child from a local school (20 minutes walk from the house) and returning home Ensuring homework is done Light meal preparation (only for the kids) The ages of the kids mean that they are very easy to look after. You will need Garda Vetting, and a driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.
