Live in native English-speaking nanny PARIS Starting September 2026 | Long-Term Position About Us We are a young, dynamic family relocating to central Paris in September 2026 and looking for an exceptional live-in nanny to become a valued part of our family. We have two daughters: Eldest (3)– fun, energetic and fully bilingual (English/French). She will start school in September 2026. Youngest (1)– sweet, curious and discovering the world around her. The Position We are looking for a caring, creative and experienced nanny who sees childcare as a vocation rather than simply a job. You will play an important role in our daughters’ emotional, social and intellectual development through attentive care, enriching experiences and Montessori-inspired learning. This is a long-term position for someone who would enjoy becoming part of our family’s journey. You will mainly care for our youngest, as our eldest will attend school. We travel frequently as a family and the nanny will accompany us on many trips. Contract Details Start: September 2026 Location: Central Paris Duration: Minimum 12 months Live-in: Private bedroom, shared bathroom with the children Accommodation and meals fully provided Salary: depending on experience and qualifications 25 days paid holiday/year**, including public holidays 5 days per week + extra hours Key Responsibilities * Provide loving, attentive and developmentally appropriate care. * Plan and lead engaging Montessori-inspired activities. * Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and confidence. * Maintain a calm, structured and positive routine. * Prepare healthy meals and snacks. * Help maintain a harmonious home environment. * Travel with the family when required. * Be reliable, proactive and trusted day-to-day support. The Ideal Candidate Essential: * Native English speaker. * Experience caring for toddlers and young children. * Strong interest in Montessori principles and child-led learning. * Good understanding of early childhood development. * Confident preparing healthy, nutritious meals. * Highly organised and able to plan activities independently. * Warm, energetic, patient and creative. * Flexible and adaptable, particularly when travelling. * Able to take initiative and work autonomously. * Reliable, responsible and trustworthy. * Discreet and respectful of family privacy. * Right to work in Europe required. Highly valued: * Montessori training/certification. * Early childhood education qualifications. * Experience travelling with families. * Additional language skills. Important Considerations At times, parents may travel without the children, in which case the nanny may be entrusted with sole responsibility for the girls for several consecutive days. There will also be periods when the parents spend dedicated time with the children. We value someone comfortable stepping back while remaining available and supportive when needed.
