Warm, Professional Family Seeking Part-Time Au Pair / Childcare Support – Near Sandymount D4 ? early October – 21st December | Monday –Friday | short am We are a warm, friendly family of four living near Sandymount, Dublin, looking for someone kind, reliable and experienced to become part of our family and provide additional support with our two young children, aged 2 and 4. Both children attend crèche full-time, so this is a part-time very short morning shift (30mins) and mainly afternoon/evening role, making it ideal for someone looking for a manageable schedule alongside their own studies, plans or interests. We are looking for support every weekday, from end September or mid October through to 21st December, approximately 4:45–8:00. The role would involve: * Collecting the children from their crèche in D8 * Travelling with them by public transport back to our home in D4 * Preparing a simple supper : prepared supper and helping with their evening routine * Playing with them and keeping them happily occupied after crèche * Helping with bath/bedtime routines * Light child-related tasks such as preparing food if needed and keeping their play areas tidy * Occasional babysitting by mutual agreement We are both busy professionals with demanding careers and some international travel, so we really value someone who is dependable, calm, proactive and confident managing two young children independently for a live in role. We would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and would become a trusted part of our family routine. We are an easygoing and respectful household and want the arrangement to work well for both sides. Outside of working hours, you would have complete freedom to enjoy your own time, socialise and explore Dublin. Our location is very well connected by DART and multiple bus, and our home is close to Sandymount village and the city centre. Experience with young children is important, particularly experience caring for two children together. We would ideally like someone with good English, who is comfortable using public transport If you are looking for a friendly family, live in au pair position , accessible to the city centre of Dublin , initially short-term role where you can genuinely become part of a family while still having plenty of independence, we would love to hear from you. ??
