Nanny or Au Pair 30 hours/week | 9:00–15:00 | 12month contract | Start mid Jan to 1 Feb 1 child (1.5 years) Option to earn overtime if wanted for travelling for work We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our toddler in Moyglass. This role is ideal for retired worker or newly qualified teachers, teachers on a career break, or experienced/retired educators with a passion for early years. QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education (or higher) preferred. Can bring own children if needed. Key responsibilities Provide nurturing, positive interactions and age appropriate activities: arts & crafts, outdoor play, walks, puzzles, story time and other educational/play activities for a toddler. Drive to local activities and outings (car available for use; own car preferred). Sign up and attend age appropriate classes/activities with the child. Keep areas used for childcare tidy; duties limited to childminding and cleaning up after self. No screen time permitted for the child while in your care. Requirements QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education preferred - not essential Garda vetting required (or willing to undergo Garda vetting). Fluent in English. References essential (recent and relevant). Interview required; successful applicant will complete a paid one week trial period.
