We are a family in Donnybrook looking for a warm, reliable and proactive childminder/family helper to join us two afternoons per week – Mondays and Wednesdays, from 2:30pm–8:30pm. We have three boys aged 6, 7 and 9. We’re looking for someone who is confident and happy with children, but who will also be a general helping hand around the house during the afternoon and evening. The role would include helping with things such as: * Looking after the children and helping with homework * Preparing a simple family dinner and tidying the kitchen afterwards * Preparing school lunchboxes for the following day * Keeping the children’s things and general living areas tidy * Some light ironing/folding laundry * Helping the children get organised for the following day * Generally pitching in with whatever needs doing when there is time We already have a cleaner, so this is not a cleaning role. We are really looking for someone practical and proactive who sees what needs to be done and is happy to help, particularly during times when the children are occupied or don’t need direct supervision. We would love to find someone kind, energetic, trustworthy and organised who enjoys being around children and could become a regular part of our family’s weekly routine. Location: Donnybrook, Dublin 4 Days: Monday & Wednesday Hours: 2:30pm–8:30pm References and previous childcare experience are preferred.
