Hi, we are looking for a carer with experience to mind our youngest daughter three afternoons a week (3-6pm) - Monday to Wednesdays. Our youngest daughter Julie (8 years) has a rare chromosomal condition called 8p inversion deletion duplication, which means she would need somebody with some experience of caring for those with special needs to look after her. We would like somebody who also enjoys children with a bubbly personality, that we can trust. All who come in contact with Julie say that she is a pleasure to be around. Julie loves walks by the sea, where we live in Portmarnock. She enjoys trips to our local coffee shops and playgrounds. She also loves watching Disney movies, listening to music and enjoying a basket swing in our garden plus her special needs bike. We have two friendly dogs in our home that Julie also loves so being a dog lover is essential too. Continuity is important so we need someone who commit. We have had the same carer for three years but she now needs more hours than we can provide for her own financial circumstances. She is very sad to say goodbye to Julie but will be staying on touch the family, which is a testament to Julie's personality.
