AU PAIR NEEDED IN PORTMARNOCK - Experienced, mature, energy, children loving, patient, fun and responsible (safety conscious) au pair needed to join our family and look after our three children (10 year old girl and 6 yr old twins) ideally, on a live in basis but live out is also considered. The 10 year old attends a local school each day until 2.30pm. The twins attend school until 1.30pm. We are seeking someone who genuinely loves children, is caring, kind, happy person who can take care of our children full time Monday to Friday, therefore it will not suit anyone who attends English classes during the day or needs to go to classes for a visa. Your weekends will be free unless by prior mutual arrangement. We also have a cocker spaniel dog, so we are seeking someone who doesn't mind a small-ish dog being around the house!! We are from a non-smoking home. An intermediate level of English and considerable childcare experience, and references are required. In return, we can offer a modernised home and pleasant bedroom with TV, free WiFi and use of your own bathroom and great terms and conditions. We live in Portmarnock and are situated beside the sea, only 11 miles from Dublin. We are well serviced by public transport with buses, Darts and trains into the city centre, which takes c. 40mins. The tourist town of Malahide is reachable by foot and is a mere 2.5miles away. We are seeking a happy, bubbly person for a minimum of 9 months and who is active with their day and shares similar interests to us; music, travelling, cultures, languages, sports, reading etc. You are also free to speak to our previous au pairs/childminders for a true account of what life is like living with us! !Key duties include: - Helping our kids to get up in the morning, prepare breakfast and school lunch. - Feed, change, dress and mind the kids from morning to evening when they aren’t at school taking them for walks and doing activities with them. - Collect our 3 kids from school; preparing lunch and completing homework. - Complete activities with 3 children in the afternoon, when they are free (park, sports, outdoor pursuits, reading/library) and where our 10 year old has activities outside the home, it would be useful to drop her off and collect her on occasion although usually the grandparents, who live locally help out here! - Prepare dinner for the children. – Whilst we have a housekeeper 3 half days per week, some light housework throughout the day would be helpful (kids laundry, ironing, playroom tidy up etc). We are a happy, easy going family with a great support network in the area and there are always a spare set of hands to support. We are really looking forward to welcoming a new person to become part of our family!
