my husband and I are looking for an au pair to care for our three children (Lily date of birth 27.01.2018, Bill (date of birth 11.05.2017) and Tom (Date of birth 18.11.2018) as I am returning to work after maternity leave. We would hope to have an au pair that can become part of the family and will do our utmost to make them as comfortable as possible. The au pair would have their own double room which is en-suite and WiFi. Smart TV. You would also have access to a car primarily when working and for personal use on your days off. We live just outside a small village called Moone in a detached house. While our house is in the countryside we also have the benefit of being close to a lot of towns both small and large and beautiful countryside and tourist attractions just a short drive away. About us We live in rural Ireland so we would provide Au pair with a car, therefore we require someone with a full clean EU driving license. My husband and I are both in the Irish Police Force and therefore we both work shift work, I work four days on then four days off so this would be the times we would need the children cared for. A typical day in our family is this 7am - Tom gets up 7:30/8:00am - Lily and Bill get up Breakfast for the kids 9:20am - Drop Lily to preschool 9:40 - Tom has a nap (Approx. 45mins/1hr) General play time with Bill and Tom when he's awake 12:30pm - Pick Lily up from Preschool 12:40pm - Lunchtime 1pm - Nap time for Bill (1/2 hrs) 1/1:30pm - Nap time for Tom (1/2 hrs) Sometimes Lily will go for a nap too but not always Playtime during the afternoon with Lily, Bill and Tom 4:00pm - Snacktime 6:00pm - Tea for the kids 7:00pm - Start getting ready for bed 7:30pm - Lily and Bill go to bed 7:45pm - Tom goes to bed During our family free time, we go for walks in the nearby woods, playgrounds, pet farms, local tourist attractions, indoor play centres, swimming, visiting family/friends. Lily's personality, she is super friendly and outgoing. She loves playing, reading and being active. She is very affectionate and loves attention. Bill's personality, he is shy and quiet when he first meets new people but once he gets to know you he loves being a typical boy running around and playing Tom's personality, he is outgoing too and loves being adventurous and exploring everything that he can get his hands on. He is a smiley happy baby and loves cuddles. We have two dogs, who are outdoors. They are both 7yrs old, one is a Labrador and the other is an Irish Red Setter. Expectations Your main duties would be looking after the kids, getting them up, dressing and feeding them. Cooking and cleaning up after the children and yourself. Putting the kids to bed. We would hope that anyone coming into our family would feel like one of the family, we all work together to make looking after the children as easy as possible and we love spending time with our kids when we are not in work. Your pocket money would be paid every week on a Friday, if that was agreeable with you. You would also receive all your food, toiletries, phone (an Irish sim could be provided on your arrival), car insurance, any take aways or meals out that we have as a family, inclusion in any excursions we take as a family if you wish to join us. While we are in a rural setting we are just ten minutes to two large towns and 45 minutes from Dublin.
