Young couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny / childminder to look after two little girls - 3 yrs and 4 yrs old. You must have at least one years experience in nannying or child care. You must be enthusiastic, organised, mature, punctual, structured and trustworthy. You will be required to work from 1.30pm - 6pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday with occasional evenings/weekends which you would be paid extra. Responsibilities include light housework and caring and entertaining the girls (bringing to the park, play dates etc). Although I (the mum) will be around we would like this person to take the lead ! We would rely on this person to make sure we have healthy meals for the kids, to think of fun games to play with them, and organise activities / excursions if the parents have not done so eg a trip to the museum. What type of person are we looking for? - We are looking for someone who is good fun to be around, who is lively and loves to play with kids. They are at the age now where they love to play chasing and hide and seek, as examples. Painting and baking are two other fun ( and messy ) activities. You must have loads of energy to keep up with them ! -You must also be very gentle and kind. We are firm with our kids and stick to routines etc but equally we are extremely loving, gentle and kind with them. We don't believe in ever shouting at them etc. - you must be an excellent time keeper. With two kids so young this is very important. - clean and tidy. We will expect you to always clean up after yourself and the kids As well as taking care of the kids duties will also include some light housework. You will be expected to help keep the house ticking over day to day eg. emptying the dishwasher, putting the bin out, tidying up after the kids, helping with the ironing or putting a wash on. You must also be able to cook please - just for the kids. Obviously you don't know us but I think I can say with some confidence that anyone who has ever worked with us would do so again.
