Live out, part-time nanny required in the D4 area (Sandymount) Mon-Fri 1PM – 6PM, starting in October We're a professional couple looking for a kind, reliable and experienced nanny for our two boys, who are 3 and almost 5 years old. We would like a nanny with experience of being in sole charge of young children. It's a plus if you like being outdoors, as we enjoy spending time in the park. We're a bilingual family (Swedish/English), so if you do have some Swedish it would be an advantage. If you only speak English, that's fine – they're used to it! A typical day would go like this: Collect the youngest at playschool, pick up the eldest at school together and then go home for lunch and a little downtime in front of the TV. Afterwards, you might take them on a play date or bring them to Sandymount Green to play there. The job would be ideal for a student, as there is plenty of scope to work full-time during school holidays if you want. Duties will include playing with and organising activities for the children, cooking simple meals (mostly reheating) and nursery duties (i.e. tidying up after the children, cleaning up after meals and doing the children's laundry - no ironing). No general cleaning will be required. We would like the successful candidate to provide a CV, checkable references, be Garda-vetted, a non-smoker and have good spoken English. We don't smoke, so we would prefer that you don't either. No driving license required. You must also have the right to work in Ireland. We offer an hourly rate of EUR 12-14 before tax, depending on experience. This role comes with 4 weeks paid holidays.
