Hi there My name is Miriam, together with my 2 lovely daughters Anna 14, and Sarah,12 we are looking for someone to join our family to be a loving big sister to the girls and a 2nd pair of hands for me. Sadly my husband passed away 2 years ago so we are having to make some adjustments. We have had aupairs for many years and love sharing our house with them. The big thing for me is that the girls are happy with the aupair. I need an aupair to bond with the girls, to become a friend yet to be able to be the boss when I am not there. I also need a spare pair of hands to help around the house when I am in work. I have a busy job and I need to know that everything is running smoothly while I am not there. The girls are active. They play many sports. I am looking for someone to sit with them when I am not there, to have fun and engage with them. They love movie nights with popcorn and treats. Your main responsibilities are to engage with the girls and be present when I am not there. a good level of English is required. Included in that are 1. Being there in the morning to prepare breakfast and wave them off to school. Bus at 8.25am 2. Ensure that they get the bus by 825am, 3. Ensure Sarah does her homework after school from 4pm 4. Preparing in advance their sports equipment for the following day 5. ensuring that the house is kept tidy 6. Helping to prepare dinner 7. Helping with laundry, washing , drying, ironing The girls do not need minding or a lot of work but they do need someone friendly to be in the house to greet them when they come home and when I am not there. I need someone independent that I can rely on. Free time: You are free in the evenings when I get home from work unless I arrange something in advance. You are free during the weekend unless we arrange something in advance (I never need you during the day) or I need you to babysit in the evening (2 evenings per week please). Hours of work: Monday – Friday 730am – 830am – 4-pm – 6pm = Total 15 hours 2 nights babysitting It is a nice job for someone in Ireland to learn English. essentially it is free food and accommodation and pocket money in exchange for help with light housework and being a friend to the girls. The girls can fend for themselves so there is not a lot of work involved with them. It is mainly to have a friendly face in the house when I am not there. It won't suit someone who has to be in the city by 9am as they will need to be in the house until 8.25 ** a good level of English is required**
