We are a warm and friendly family living in a comfortable, spacious home in Waterford on the South East coast of Ireland, Ireland's oldest city. We need someone kind and reliable who is able to drive to live with us and help with childcare. We have three very well behaved (really!) and very sweet children, a girl aged 11, a boy of almost 10 and a girl of 3, and two kittens. Your role would involve picking them up from school in the afternoons, and supervising homework, snack and play time, and preparing simple meals for them. We are looking for someone who can drive and is confident driving in Ireland on small roads, and who has initiative, is kind fun and adaptable. We would also require occasional evening babysitting, and helping in the mornings/bringing them to school some days. In exchange, you will have a room in a large, comfortable six bedroom house, just five minutes' walk from a great, vibrant city with a busy arts scene, and lots of sporting activities, plus access to a car. You would have mornings and most weekends free to study or explore, except for occasional weekend babysitting, if you're available. We're hoping to find the right person who will stay with us for 6 months or more.
