Hello there, I am a working professional and a single mother looking for a caring, responsible and experienced live-in childcarer /housekeeper to care for my 11 year-old daughter and my 18 year-old daughter when she is at home. You will be a childcarer / housekeeper ideally with 1-2 years experience in similar roles. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work Monday - Friday from approximately 07:30-08:30 and from 14:30 to 18:00-19:00 with babysitting on Wednesdays evening and occasionally on one other evening per week . You shall be required to work additional hours during school holidays. We are a non-smoking household and require a non-smoker. You shall have all your weekends free and will have use of the car (subject to availability). Your responsibilities include: caring for the needs of my 11 year old daughter, driving my daughter to her sports activities, cleaning, cooking and general housekeeping and looking after our (medium size) dog. You must have a full clean (preferably EU) driving license and must be 25 years or older (due to cost of car insurance). A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded. You must be available to start from 23rd August 2021. You shall have an ensuite bedroom with wifi and use of car and bicycle. We live within 10 minutes walk of Galway city centre and 10 minutes walk to the beach in Salthill. There is an option to do some gardening work should you enjoy gardening and you shall be paid extra for this.
