Mum has mild dementia, and the family is providing care currently. Mum is mobile. Looking for a live in carer as Mum needs closer attention Job Spec: Catering to Mums needs for meals supervision - sitting down with mum checking that mum is eating her meals/spending time with mum/cooking mums meal preference/built up a relationship with mum. Assistance with personal care , Some light housework and laundry . Be willing to drive mom for shopping , outings , activities Be able to work with the family to coordinate moms needs as they arise and possibly change. Best candidate needs to be experienced with dementia , patient and amenable to working / living rurally. HCA with experience: Dementia; General age-related condition.Personal care, preparation of favourite meals, medication and mobility support, companionship, assist with shopping, light QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING): * QQI Level 5 (8 modules) Major Award in Healthcare is the minimum requirement in Irish Nursing Homes (HIQA). * Fluent English and up to date mandatory training done in all disciplines. * Proof of Garda vetted to look after vulnerable people. * Full Irish/EU Driving License. * References of previous experience. * Contact Mobile Number. * Insured. * Available for Live In Care.
