We are a professional couple looking for a caring, fun-loving, responsible and experienced nanny / childcarer to care for our two young children – a four-year-old girl and a 15-month old boy. We are seeking a nanny / childcarer with at least 2/3 years experience in nannying, child care, au pair or babysitting work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work from 3.30pm (picking the children up from creche) to 6.30pm (when we get home from work) Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends for which you will be paid extra. It would be a bonus if you were also available to help us for an hour or 1.5 hours in the mornings and get the kids to creche. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. The position would be ideal for someone who works half days (primary school teachers / montessori teachers etc.). Your responsibilities will include: Picking the children up from their respective creches (both very close to our home) between 3.30-4pm. Playing with the children or taking them to the park, weather permitting. Preparing and giving them their dinner. Bath twice per week. Having kids in PJs by 6.30pm and ensuring kitchen / toys etc. have been tidied up. You will need a current First Aid certificate, Garda Vetting, a driver’s licence and your own transportation (we will provide car seats for the kids). A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.
