Our family is seeking a live-in carer to provide assistance to both our elderly parents who are in declining health. Both adults are still relatively independent, however the mother suffers from early stages Parkinson's disease and the father has chronic heart disease. The job would entail helping around the house, especially with the mother's ability to do some daily activities which are limited because of mobility issues. You would be supported by regularly scheduled, professional carers who visit the parents for an hour, 3 times per day. There's also a strong and supportive network of family who drop by regularly to offer assistance. The home is conveniently situated close to major bus routes, shops, and other conveniences in Limerick city. Every accommodation will be made to ensure that the carer has a comfortable, convenient, and appealing work and living conditions.
