My love for working with children started when I was just 16, picking up my first babysitting jobs in the neighbourhood. What began as a part-time gig quickly turned into something I genuinely looked forward to — and over the years, that early spark grew into a real career path. I went on to earn a degree in Education and Training, and I'm now studying Primary Teaching, which has given me a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive at different stages. Alongside my studies, I've spent the last four years as a Scout leader, where I've led groups of children through everything from outdoor adventures to teamwork challenges — learning firsthand how to keep kids engaged, safe, and having fun, all while building their confidence and independence. That combination — years of hands-on babysitting experience, formal education training, and real leadership with young people — is what I bring to every family I work with.
