My name is Fernanda, originally from Brazil, and I’ve been living in Ireland since 2014. I’m an organised, caring and easy-going person with over 6 years of experience working as a childminder in Ireland. I have loved working with children since I was 12, when I helped my mother care for my two youngest siblings. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to learn and grow. In my most recent childminding role, I cared for two children and also supported a child with mild neurodivergence, adapting activities and routines to their individual needs and personality. This experience helped me develop even more patience, flexibility and understanding when supporting children with different needs. I enjoy music, yoga, outdoor walks, sports, games and dancing, and I love including creative, educational and active play in my time with children. I’m also a Holistic Therapist trained in Aromatherapy, Reiki and Sound Healing, which brings a calm and positive energy to my care. I adore animals and have two lovely cats, so I’m very comfortable with pets in the house.
