Hi there, If you are looking for a caring, attentive , loving childminder or nanny look no further ! I have over 10 years of childcare experience in a variety of roles, including au pair, nanny, and childminder positions. Along the way, I’ve also worked in both crèche and primary school settings, but I’ve found my passion lies in providing one-to-one care or supporting small groups of children. Over the years, I’ve cared for children of different ages and needs, including siblings, twins, children with additional needs, and young adults with intellectual disabilities. I’m experienced in managing multiple children at once (up to four) while ensuring each child feels supported and cared for. My childcare approach is gentle and responsive. I work closely with parents to understand routines, preferences, and any specific needs, so I can create a nurturing and consistent environment. I like to involve children in daily activities and decisions appropriate to their age—whether that’s choosing between snacks, helping with small household tasks, or deciding on an afternoon activity. This not only builds their independence and confidence but also makes our time together fun and engaging. Activities I enjoy sharing with children include arts and crafts, baking, reading, walks and nature outings, playground visits, and imaginative play (fort building is always a favorite!). I encourage independent play too, while always staying nearby. Screen time is minimal, though I do make exceptions depending on the family’s preferences or circumstances, and I often use music or storytelling as an alternative. I’m happy to prepare meals, tidy up play areas, manage small household tasks, and even look after family pets as part of my role(specifics to be confirmed )I don’t drive, but I’m comfortable walking or using public transport for outings and school collections when possible. At the moment, I’m minding a little boy part-time as he transitions into crèche, so I have availability in the afternoons and evenings, with some flexibility in hours week to week. I’m also open to occasional overnight care if required.
