I started working as a senior care assistant and substitute carer (in Germany) in the preventive care up to the end-of-life care ([removed]) as a lateral entry employee after the homecare for my father. In the course of my years in this profession, I was able to significantly expand my skills in dealing with people in terms of problem and crisis management. Empathy, kindness and the ability to be a good listener are self-evident for this work. My work incorporated dealing with patients with a wide range of medical conditions, as blind people, people suffering from dementia, people in bedridden state, diabetics, etc. Since I moved to Ireland in 2019 I have been working as a home care assistant for care agencies.
