Brazilian English student in Dun Laoghaire from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. I currently work in an afterschool taking care of children, but I am also open to new proposals. I have been verified by Garda by the company I work for and I have references. I am available to babysit occasionally on Saturday or Sunday nights as per the family's needs. I started taking care of children at age 12. I was helping a lady to take care of her 2 year old granddaughter as the child's mother had to work and the grandmother could not take care of her alone. I stayed in this job for 4 months, but due to complications in my studies I had to leave. So when I was 14 I took care of 2 girls, a 3 year old and a 7 year old. I stayed in that job for 1 year. When I was 15 years old, I helped a mother care for her newborn daughter. This job lasted 4 months, so the mother didn't need my help anymore. Soon after, my job was volunteering with the kids, where I attended church parties and events and jobs involving kids at my last job. Usually I was in animation or support, where I dressed the character and stayed in the animation part, or else I was in support teaching children with games, reading, coloring, etc... I like being with children because they teach me a lot and convey affection and respect. They are fragile and need care, I feel super protective when I take care of them.
