Brazilian student living in Dún Laoghaire. I recently completed my Master’s degree in September 2025, and while I wait for my 1G visa to be issued in 2026, I am looking for a babysitting position. I’ve been Garda vetted by the companies I worked for, such as Derrycourt, Kids Inc, and Heritage. I also have excellent references from an Irish family I lived with and cared for their three children for 1 year and 6 months in Dún Laoghaire (from 2022 to 2024). I started looking after children when I was 12 years old. My first experience was helping a grandmother care for her 2-year-old granddaughter while the child’s mother was at work. I stayed in that position for 4 months. Later, at age 14, I took care of two girls aged 3 and 7 for one year. When I was 15, I helped a mother with her baby for 4 months, until she no longer needed assistance. After that, I volunteered in activities with children at church events and parties, usually helping with games, reading, and creative activities such as coloring and storytelling. I also helped with children’s animation — dressing up as characters and supporting the events. In Ireland, I worked at an after-school program for Kids Inc and as an au pair, as mentioned above. I truly enjoy spending time with children because they teach me so much and bring joy, affection, and respect. I feel very protective and responsible when caring for them, and I always aim to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
