Hi, my name is Yanna Power and I’m 24 years old. I’m from Co. Dublin and am currently completing an MSc in Business Management at UCD Smurfit, having recently graduated from UCD with a BSc in Food Science. I have extensive babysitting and childminding experience with children ranging from babies and toddlers through to teenagers (0–16 years). I also have previous work experience in both a primary school and preschool, so I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages, personalities and needs. I really enjoy engaging with children and am happy to plan fun and creative activities, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and games, as well as helping older children with homework. I’m also happy to prepare meals, help with evening or bedtime routines and complete light household tasks where needed. As the eldest of four children, I’m very accustomed to busy family life and understand how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust with your children. I would describe myself as caring, responsible, patient, creative and reliable. I’m currently looking for babysitting or childminding work that I can balance alongside my master’s. My timetable gives me availability during both the daytime and evenings on certain weekdays, as well as some weekend availability, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for your family.
