I am 30 years old and I have 15 years experience minding children. I have minded my nephew since birth, I lived full-time with my sister. Then my sister left home when my nephew was 6 and she took him about a year ago at age 13. I ensured that he was cleaned and he was appropriately groomed, made healthy meals for him, cared for him when he was sick, maintained his schedules and transported him to school, helped him with his homework, took him on playdates and other activities outside school e.g swimming, martial arts, soccer. Everyone thought he was my own child. I have also minded my relatives and friends children casually in the age group 6 months to 14 years. I obtained guidance from parents about what works to ensure children's comfort. At the moment I mind my 4 year old nephew in our home. I have a passion for caring about children, it feels so rewarding and children love to have me around.
