My name is Rafaela, and I would like to introduce myself as a childminder. I have many years of experience working with children, both in Brazil and here in Ireland. In Brazil, I worked with children privately and in schools, including children with special needs. During this time, I applied the ABA methodology (Applied Behavior Analysis) and completed an internship in the Pedagogy field, which greatly contributed to my professional development and to the careful, individualized way I work with each child. Since moving to Ireland, I have worked with Irish families, have references available, and continue to carry out my work with responsibility, care, and commitment. I am an enthusiastic and creative minder, always attentive to the interests and needs of each child. I enjoy planning activities that encourage learning through play. I often organize educational and cultural outings, such as visits to the cinema, museums, and libraries, as well as arts and crafts activities. During the winter, when we spend more time indoors, I always try to reinvent activities, inviting children to try simple recipes, take part in creative projects, educational games, and other activities that stimulate creativity, independence, and learning in a fun and safe way. I truly enjoy working with children and believe that childcare goes beyond supervision it involves care, affection, stimulation, and respect for each child’s individual development.
