Hi! My name is Ana and I am an experienced nanny based in Knocklyon, Dublin 16, with 7 years of childcare experience in Ireland. I have worked with several families over the years, caring for children from babies and toddlers to school-age children, including families with more than one child. I have been fortunate to build very strong and long-lasting relationships with the families I work with. I stayed with one of my previous families for 3½ years and have been with my current family for almost 2 years. I still keep in touch with the families I have worked for and occasionally babysit for them, which is something I really value. I am confident managing the full day-to-day routine of children of different ages, including preparing healthy meals and snacks, naps and feeding routines for younger children, school and crèche runs, homework, playdates, classes and appointments, as well as planning age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. I particularly enjoy getting children out and about to parks, playgrounds, libraries and other activities rather than spending the whole day at home. I also have experience caring for multiple children within the same family and understand the organisation and flexibility needed when children have different ages, routines and needs. Nutrition and healthy eating are an important part of the way I care for children. I have completed childcare-related training, including courses focused on children’s food and nutrition, and I enjoy preparing balanced, age-appropriate meals. I believe a good nanny becomes someone both the children and parents can genuinely rely on. I am affectionate and patient with children while also maintaining routines, boundaries and encouraging independence appropriate to their age. I value open communication with parents and always respect each family’s own approach to raising their children. I am currently looking for a full-time, long-term position and I am available from early October 2026. I am flexible with working hours and can also consider occasional babysitting/evening hours when agreed in advance.
