I love kids since I was one myself. I come from a very big family (I have more than 20 cousins) and I babysat many of my younger cousins from when I was 11 years old until a couple of year ago. During the past four summers, I worked in a summer camp in the United States where I lived with groups of kids ages 8 to 11 and 14 to 15 for 24 hours a day and 6 days per week during 9 weeks each summer. It was the best experience ever to work with so many talented staff and children and hear things like “You are my favourite counsellor!”. I helped many of the kids who were very homesick and seeing them happy and seeing that they were glad that they stayed at camp and were enjoying it instead of going home was the best feeling ever. Some of those kids keep coming to camp every year and it is the best to see them grow and enjoy camp each year. I am currently living in Dublin and I work during the weekdays afternoons in an afterschool in Mount Merrion where I have been working for almost two school years now and where I take care of kids ages 4 to 11. I love the kids in the afterschool and I can tell how much they love me specially when we come back from summer holidays and they are all so excited to see me again (and so am I to see their lovely little faces again). I also occasionally babysit kids ages 0 to 10 for some families here in Dublin when they need me. I have been babysiting for some of those families for almost two years now. I love doing creative projects with children (arts and crafts) and I love getting to know them. I am responsible, organised, adaptable, proactive and respectful. I am that kind of person that can spend hours sitting in the ground playing with toys and games with the kids, because that is what I loved to do as a kid and what I loved to do when I babysat my little cousins. I also love going on little walks to explore the neighbourhood and stay outside when the weather allows. I am Garda vetted, have Irish references and I have done a first aid course last year. I am fluent in english and I am used to speaking english with people from all ages and all backgrounds.
