Hi! First and foremost I absolutely love babies and children! As the eldest girl in a family of seven, I naturally took on a caregiving role from a young age. When my mother passed away when I was 14, I assumed significant responsibility in helping my father raise my younger siblings. The youngest was only two at the time. A few years later, my father remarried, and I continued to be a huge support to their ever-expanding family until I left home in my early twenties. Those years instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and a genuine love for caring for children. I raised my own two children while sailing around the world with my husband. I educated them through a wonderful French correspondence program, as they had begun their schooling in the French system in St. Martin before we set off for the Pacific. It was a rich and unique experience that strengthened my adaptability, creativity, and patience - qualities I bring into my childcare work. I truly value outdoor play, music, reading, and creative activities.
