Hello! My name is Isabelle and I am a caring, responsible and creative childminder with several years of hands-on experience working with children. I started helping at my mother’s private recreational daycare in Brazil when I was 15 and worked there until I was around 20. During that time I cared for children from 3 months to 10 years old, helping with feeding, changing nappies, preparing meals, organising activities, playtime and homework support. In 2024 I moved to Ireland and helped care for my Irish niece, looking after her daily from 6 months to 2 years old. I supported her development through play, reading and helping her learn her first words in English and Portuguese, as she is growing up bilingual. I enjoy doing creative and outdoor activities with children such as drawing, painting, puzzles, imaginative play and park visits. I also have some experience supporting children with autism, which helped me develop patience and understanding for different needs. I am a non-smoker, comfortable preparing meals (including vegetarian meals), and happy to help with light housekeeping related to children. I speak fluent Portuguese and advanced English, and I would be happy to introduce children to Portuguese if parents are interested.
