I am a mother of one full grown boy (21 years old by now) plus years of experience as a nanny. I have a Certificate QQI level 5 in Early Learning and Care, and a QQI in Special Needs Assisting. I also have a level 8 degree in a scientific subject but I prefer to work with children and I have been doing this for the last 20+ years. I am active, patient and creative and I value the importance of a good and broad exposure to several kind of stimuli in the early years of life of a child, through sensory experiences, communication, play, and outdoor activities, etc. I have experience with special needs children with Down syndrome and blind children (I can read and write in Braille) and I am open to supporting children with other types of disabilities.
