Hi parents! 😊 My name is Brenda, and I’m a very experienced and passionate babysitter based in South Dublin. I’ve been living in Ireland for the past 6 years, originally from Brazil, and throughout this time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many wonderful children and families around Donnybrook, Milltown, Ballsbridge, Ranelagh, and Rathmines. I started as an au pair in Donnybrook, minding two amazing kids, and after that, I worked for another lovely family in the same area for over two years. Since finishing college last year, I’ve been working full-time from 2pm to 11pm, which means I’m currently available in the mornings and on weekends , perfect for parents needing extra help before school, on busy weekends, or just to take a well-deserved break. Over the years, I’ve become a go-to babysitter for several local families. I often help out when parents have events, need a night away, or even travel, I’ve done many overnight stays and sleepovers specially now during summer time, which I know can be a big decision for parents, but I’m always happy to provide references so you feel completely confident and at ease. I truly understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your children. As the oldest grandchild in a big family of 20 back in Brazil, I grew up surrounded by younger cousins and siblings, helping to mind them from a very young age. Being with kids brings me joy and comfort, especially when I miss my family back home. Children often feel very comfortable with me, I blend right in, play with them at their level, and build real connections. Many times, they don’t want me to leave at the end of a babysitting job (which always makes me smile!). I live in the south side and am happy to travel around South Dublin.
