I cared for my grandfather, who was wheelchair-bound and paraplegic, for two years until his passing. During this time, I assisted him with daily hygiene, mobility, sunbathing, medication management, and physical therapy. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of preserving dignity and comfort in every moment. Before moving to Ireland, I was also the primary caregiver for my two young children in Brazil—Maria (4) and Miguel (5)—both of whom have special needs (Autism and ADHD).
