Dear Families My name is Joelma, I’m 41 years old, and I’m a professional childminder with over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. I’m a calm, patient, and loving person who truly enjoys spending time with kids and supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Caring for children has been a part of my life from a very young age. I was the go-to person in my neighborhood to look after the little ones, and as I grew older, I continued caring for my friends’ children and my own nieces and nephews. Many people tell me I have a natural talent and heart for this work and I couldn’t agree more! In Brazil, I worked for 3 years at a daycare center with children up to 7 years old, where I developed skills in early childhood care, learning activities, and group supervision. Later, in Ireland, I worked as a nanny for two lovely families: • One with three children: a 5-year-old boy and twin girls aged 3 • Another with two children: a 1.5-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl Both families are happy to provide references upon request.
