Caring for others has always felt natural to me, but it became a true calling when I chose to pursue a career in caregiving—guided by both passion and purpose. Before entering this field, I worked in hospitality and sales, where I developed the people skills and patience that now enrich my work as a caregiver. It was during this transition that I made a promise to my late mother: to follow my heart and build a meaningful career, one where I could make a real difference in people’s lives—even beyond my home country. That is why I am now seeking an opportunity to work overseas as a caregiver. In my current role, I provide dedicated, one-on-one care to a client recovering from a stroke. While he was in the early stages post-tracheostomy and receiving nutrition via nasogastric tube, I assisted with feeding and closely followed care protocols. I continue to support his daily hygiene and incontinence needs, monitor skin integrity, and ensure regular pressure care to prevent damage and maintain circulation. I apply emollients to dry areas, help with bedside stretching per the physiotherapist’s guidance, and encourage speech practice to aid in recovery. Beyond physical care, I offer companionship—whether it's watching movies together, reading magazines, or solving puzzles at the bedside. I bring not only hands-on experience but also a deep sense of empathy, patience, and commitment. Every small progress I witness in my client reminds me why I chose this path.
