Hello, I’m Natie 😊 I am 28 years old and live in Castlebar. I have cared for my late great-grandmother since I was fifteen until my early twenties, which included all household chores, assisting in bathing and showering, washing, pad changes, assisting in the use of the toilet, dressing, undressing, cleaning, doing her hair including washing, combing and styling, application of skincare products as well as light makeup. I accompanied and assisted her in daily tasks such as running errands and doctor visits as well. Also, during my apprenticeship at a hospital in Germany by the name of Marienhospital I have learned to care for people whose mobility was compromised following strokes and paralysis after chemo therapy.
