Hello families! My name is Paula, I’m 29 years old and I’m from Vilagarcía de Arousa, a town in Galicia, Spain. I’m currently preparing for the public exams to become a primary school teacher in my region, but during the first few months of the academic year (September to December), I would love to move to Ireland. The main reason is that I want to practice and improve my English, and also work towards earning additional qualifications that will support my teaching career. I also have a family member living in Dublin, so I’ll be staying with her during my time there. I’ve visited Ireland before and really liked it, which makes me even more excited to return. I love spending time with children — playing, having fun, and especially doing outdoor activities whenever possible. I also enjoy reading stories, doing creative games, and anything else they find enjoyable. I worked for a few years in a children’s play center, so I have hands-on experience. I consider myself a cheerful, enthusiastic person who’s always eager to learn. Even though my English isn’t very advanced yet, I’m motivated to keep improving it. I’d be very happy to spend time in such a beautiful country as Ireland and to get to know it even better.
