Hello, dear families! My name is Thaís, I’m 25 years old, from Brazil, and currently living in Ireland, where I am studying English for the next 8 months. Back home, I am a lawyer, but here my main goal is to learn a new language and embrace a cultural exchange experience while supporting families as an au pair. My current English level is A2, and I already hold the Immigration Stamp 2. Since a young age, I’ve had experience taking care of children – in Brazil, I used to look after my younger brother (10 years younger than me) and my cousin (15 years younger). These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to truly enjoy spending time with children. I genuinely love being around kids and feel confident in my ability to care for them, always creating a safe, fun, and respectful environment. I was raised in a family that values discipline, kindness, and respect for rules, which shaped who I am today. Currently, I attend English classes in the afternoons, from 1:15 pm to 4:30 pm, so I am available to work in the mornings until 12:00 pm and after 4:30 pm.
