Hi! My name’s Lara, and I’m a lawyer from Argentina. I have a master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Technology. I’ve been living in Ireland since June 2024, and I fell in love with Dublin! I enjoy art in all its forms, so I love reading, writing, going to museums and watching films. I’m really chill, patient and responsible. I used to mind children back home, in Argentina, while I was in college, and I also have experience pet sitting (I’ve always had pets and I’ve minded my friends’ pets while they were on holidays). I’m looking for child minding jobs from ages 5+ and I’m available from 12.30 / 1PM during OCTOBER or starting permanently in DECEMBER, since I currently have a full time job in retail and I’m going back home to visit my family during November. I could also work occasionally on weekends or for special occasions (for example, if you’re going out and need some to mind the kids while you’re out, in this cases, I’m available at the moment but I’d need to know in advance so I could organize my schedule). I can cook and I can adjust to the child’s dietary needs. I could also help with their homework, especially if they need help with literature, social sciences or language. I also believe in limited screen time, so if your parenting approach is focused on helping the kids learn while interacting with their surroundings I’d love to help with that. If there are pets in the house I could also take care of them, take the dogs for a walk and keep the cats company. I have experience with big energetic dogs, since my family always had Labradors, so that wouldn’t be an issue. I’m based in Dundrum, but I’d be happy to go anywhere public transport can take me.
