Hi! My name is Maria and animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with 9 cats and 3 dogs, and I’ve also taken care of a parrot, a rabbit, a guinea pig and a chinchilla. I even used to go horse riding when I was younger. Being around animals makes me feel at home – I truly enjoy caring for them and making sure they feel happy, safe and loved. Besides animals, I also have experience working with people of all ages. I spent time in a social care home for seniors, where I was a companion and helped with art therapy activities. It was a meaningful experience that taught me a lot about patience, connection, and empathy. I also enjoy working with children. Since I was 13, I’ve been regularly taking care of my younger cousins and the children of family friends. We always had a great time together, and I’m happy to help with homework or creative play. At the moment, I’m about to start my first year of university, studying Psychology in Dublin. I’m currently living in Dublin 8 and looking for part-time opportunities in pet sitting, babysitting, or companionship care.
