Hello! My name is Laura, I’m 18 years old and I come from Madrid, Spain. I’m a cheerful, caring and responsible young woman who loves spending time with children and learning from new experiences. I finished high school recently and plan to start university in September 2026, studying Marketing and Business. Since I was 13, I’ve been caring for children of different ages, including my younger stepsister, which has taught me to be patient, creative and attentive to their needs. I truly enjoy playing with kids, helping with homework, and being part of their daily routines. I love creating a warm and positive atmosphere, and I come from a very close-knit family where that’s always been important. I’m also very curious and open-minded—I love meeting people from different cultures and discovering new ways of life. I enjoy music, reading, traveling, and trying new foods. I’m organized and tidy, and I always give my best when I commit to something. I also practice Pilates during the week and go running on weekends to stay active. I can cook simple meals and I’m happy to help with light household tasks. I don’t smoke, I like dogs (although I’ve never cared for one), and I’m allergic to cats. I speak English quite well, having studied it from a young age in school and academies. Last summer, I spent a month in Oxford living with a host family and studying at an English academy, which helped me improve my fluency and confidence. Becoming an au pair is something I’m truly excited about. I see it as a beautiful opportunity to be part of a family, care for children, and grow personally while discovering a new culture.
