Hello, my name is Carmen, and this is my profile. I am a 47 year old, experienced and reliable woman with a strong educational background. I am a fully registered Special Education teacher with two Bachelor’s Honours degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, and two postgraduate qualifications in special education. I currently hold a permanent, full time position in a special education school. I have been caring for children since I was 16 and have extensive experience, including working with children with additional needs. I am available for babysitting or elder care in the afternoons or nights during weekdays, weekends and school holidays. I also have experience working with adults with additional needs and older people through special education settings, social centres, residential settings and European social inclusion and community projects. I currently live in Tallaght, Dublin, and have my own car, so I am happy to travel. At the moment, I am looking for additional work alongside my teaching role while saving to buy a home.
