I’m from India and come from a close-knit joint family, where I’ve been the eldest granddaughter and a natural caregiver for my cousins and siblings since I was young. Growing up, I took care of my younger brother and cousins, and I also led Sunday school for children at church, which helped me develop strong facilitation skills and a genuine love for caring for kids. Now, at 28, I have nearly two decades of hands-on experience in babysitting and caregiving. Professionally, I’ve been working as a caregiver for the elderly for the past ten months, holding a QQI Level 5 certificate, which has equipped me with essential caregiving skills. This includes everything from assisting with daily needs to providing compassionate care.
