Hello! My name is Mia, and I’m a South African currently living between Cape Town and Dublin. I work as a freelance Production Coordinator in the film industry, where I’ve spent the past five years working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments that require organisation, patience, and adaptability. While I love the creativity and energy of film, I’m looking to spend part of each year doing something a little more grounded and meaningful — supporting a family as an au pair for around six months between seasonal production work. I absolutely love working with children. I was raised by a crèche teacher — my mother — so caring for and engaging with kids has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up around early childhood education taught me the importance of patience, kindness, structure, and creating a safe, fun environment where children feel supported and confident.
